When Savannah Guthrie asked Mady how she was doing and how she enjoyed her family life, she nearly went silent. “Um…” she said before going completely silent. Being the stage-mom personality that she is, Kate intervened and took it upon herself to pressure her daughters into speaking.

Kate Gosselin snapped her fingers at her daughter. “Mady — your words. It’s your chance. Spit it out.” Not to criticize anyone’s parenting style, but that definitely does not feel like the right way to get your daughters to speak, on live television, no less. True to form, Kate interjected rudely.
