She Helped Charlie Clean Up His Act

Like many stars, modeling was Denise’s gateway into acting. And acting was her way of meeting Charlie Sheen, who, at the time, was a troubled actor with a hefty history of drug abuse and legal issues. They met on the set of the film Good Advice (2001) and ran into each other again when Denise guest-starred on the TV series Spin City.

The actress helped him get his act together, and, for a while there, she became the reason Charlie stayed sober. Denise claimed that by their second date, she knew he was the one. And by the end of 2001, they were engaged.
