Mark Didn’t Think He Stood a Chance with Kelly
In 1995, Kelly was already an established cast member on the show and Mark was just beginning his journey as her fictional love interest, Mateo Santos. On seeing her, Mark stated, “I thought she was adorable, hot and sexy and all that stuff, but I was very focused — I didn’t really think I had a chance with her, so I wasn’t really focused on that.”
