Irina Shayk: An Industry Icon
Russian model Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova, better known as Irina Shayk, is ranked by models.com as an “industry icon.” She received international recognition after appearing as the first Russian model on the cover of the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She’s known for showing off her perfect physique on the red carpet, usually in show-stopping outfits.

This barely-there dress, which she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, was no exception. With half of her body visible through black netting, not much was left to the imagination, and she certainly caught the attention of both the paparazzi as well as the other attendees. This risqué look pushed all kinds of boundaries and caused quite a stir.
