The Bachelor, Season 1: Alex Michel and Amanda Marsh
Alex Michel, a businessman and TV producer, was the first Bachelor! It was a fun first season, with everyone basically learning as they go along. At the end of the first season, Alex chose a gorgeous event planner, Amanda Marsh. However, after choosing to be with Amanda, Alex didn’t propose. Alex chose Amanda over the season one runner up Trisha.

Instead, the couple decided to continue dating. Sadly, their relationship only lasted for a few months before they inevitably broke up. What a sad way to start off the first season of the show. I don’t think this really phased anyone since there are so many versions of the Bachelor and Bachelorette around the world. Also, there are multiple spin offs.
