When Goldie Met Kurt(ie)
It was 1966 when Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell met on the set of a Disney movie. They were both filming for the Disney movie, ‘The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band,’ when they met for the first time, but they weren’t quite ready to start dating yet. As Goldie recalled during a BBC Radio 4 interview, “I was 21, and he was 16.”

“I thought he was adorable, but he was much too young. Then, years later, we met up again, and I remembered that I liked him very much when I first met him. We both said we would never go out with another actor, so it just shows you never can tell.” But before she realized she liked him this time, he needed to win her heart.
