Their First Date
While the two stars were filming ‘Swing Shift,’ they decided to go out one night after a long day of acting on set. They chalked it up to “practicing a dance scene.” Russell took Hawn to a place called The Playboy Club, where he said they talked for hours. They then decided to go to a house that Hawn recently bought and was going to renovate.

She didn’t have the key yet, so they broke in. “We eventually found our way upstairs, looking around at imaginary furniture,” Russell said. “We were in the imaginary bedroom when the police walked in because we had to break into the place to get in. That was our first date.” But the cops didn’t get to ruin their first date. The two finished their date in a hotel room. And according to Kurt, they’ve been living together ever since.
