Chase Masterson – Then

Back in her sci-fi years, Chase Masterson portrayed Leeta, a Bajoran Dabo girl on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine starting in 1995. Leeta was employed as a Dabo girl at the Quark’s bar who ended up getting married, dated the CMO of DS9, and eventually ended her time on Star Trek as the First Lady of Ferenginar.

At first, her character was a bit of an airhead, but as the show went on, it was revealed that she is really an intelligent woman and just chooses to keep up a carefree attitude. Leeta doesn’t have a family name, even though Bajoran characters usually do. This is because her backstory is that she grew up in an orphanage and didn’t have a family name.
