Shawn Bradley Taller Than He Was Talented
When Shawn Bradley came onto the NBA scene, the hype was all about seeing a fresh player who happened to be 7’6″ tall. But Bradley wasn’t super skilled on the court and was as goofy as he was tall. During his short-lived career, he averaged eight points and six rebounds. Today, Bradley focuses on his involvement with charitable groups. He works mainly with ‘at-risk’ youths.

Shawn initially competed globally for Germany. Meaning he and Dirk Nowitzki, a Dallas teammate were members of the German national basketball team that ended in fourth place at the EuroBasket 2001 in Turkey. In order to take part in this tournament, Shawn had to make use of his birthrights in Germany to obtain German citizenship.
