If You Want A Healthy Teeth, Don’t Brush After Eating.

It is not advisable to brush your teeth immediately after a meal. It is one of the worst things to do your teeth especially after eating acidic foods like soda, citrus fruits, and tomatoes. This is because acidic foods contain substances that can damage/soften to enamel.

Hence brushing immediately after the intake of an acidic food fastens the wear and tear effect of the acid on your enamel. You should avoid brushing your teeth for at least an hour after a meal. By this time, your mouth would have returned to its healthy PH.
