Flying can be a pretty tricky ordeal. For some of us, it’s even a gut-wrenching and anxiety-ridden one too! Ask anyone who has flown before, and they will tell you how much of a hassle it is. There’s getting to the airport on time, then making sure your bags are packed correctly. You have to understand all the security procedures, and then you enter the maze of terminals that are sometimes extremely long and treacherous. By the time you get to your terminal, you realize that you still didn’t drink your coffee, yet, your back hurts and boarding has already begun. Then you load up on the plane, you’re hungry, tired, grumpy, and your seat ends up being right next to the bathroom! Despite the struggle, flying doesn’t have to be so hard.

The flight service industry has many different types of free service perks that you need to know about before taking off for the first time. The first thing is, get yourself a “Mile’s” credit card. Then every purchase you make will add frequent flyer miles to your ticket, and then you will be eligible for bumping up to business class. Also never feel too ashamed to ask for food on the flight, even between meals. Long haul flights usually serve free drinks and sandwiches. But they don’t tell you. All you have to do is ask!
