The gel packets, when placed in a drawer, can fight musty odors that sometimes happen, especially in those drawers that are full of seasonal clothing that go unworn for half of the year. Slip a gel packet between layers of clothing or linens, or even in the back of a drawer, to keep moisture at bay.
