All the Beeps
Mike has always considered himself to be a curious man. When his mental detector went off that rainy day, he knew he was going to see it through to the end. But who knew it would be such a monumental treasure? He certainly never anticipated ever needing to get the authorities involved, either!

But there was no going back now. He had to know what it was that set his detector off. After the first beep, Mike swept the rest of the field. Typically, when someone walks away from a find, the beeping will grow fainter until it stops altogether. But as you can guess by now, that wasn’t the case for Mike!
