Woman Finds Love With the Help of Her Service Dog

Wherever 31-year-old Sally Whitney goes, almost everyone stops to look at her. But it’s not that they’re staring at her, or what’s in her shopping bag, or even at her wheelchair. Everyone just wants to get a glimpse of her amazing service dog, Ethan, pay for her groceries and put the receipt carefully into Sally’s bag. “Before I had him, I felt like a burden and a drain on society,” Sally said in an interview with the Yorkshire Post.

But now, thanks to a new project at the University of Sheffield, the British native is finally starting to feel like she deserves to live a happy and fulfilled life, and even credits Ethan for helping her meet her husband.
