One evening, Chantal Melsonson was out at a country bar with some friends, when a stranger came over to say hello. It was the second day of the 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. The guy introduced himself as Austin Monfort, but the woman was too busy hanging out with girlfriends, and kind of brushed him off.

In the weeks following, Chantel and Austin supported each other, even though Chantel is based in Canada, and he is in California. The two ultimately fell in love and celebrated their wedding last November.
