Sadly, the memory only lasted a few seconds before Allie couldn’t remember who she was, or who Noah is. Still, he loves Allie with every part of his being. The movie concludes – SPOILER ALERT – with Allie and Noah dying in each other’s arms, proving that they can’t live without each other’s love. Obviously, this is a story for the movies, but a WWII Veteran Couple had a very similar story. They both passed away on the same day, a few hours apart.
